Deadline for Pre-Applications: December 5, 2023.
The MHCRC is now accepting Pre-Applications for projects to fund through the Community Technology Grants program. Approximately $2,000,000 is available for awards in the 2024 grant cycle.
Follow these steps to apply:
- Register: New Applicants must first create a profile and request activation in order to access the online Pre-Application system. (Returning Applicants use existing log in information) To create a profile and request activation, please visit mhcrccommunitygrants.org.
- Once logged on to the system, click on “Funding Opportunity” and then on the opportunity title (2024 Community Technology Grants) and familiarize yourself with the 2024 Grant Guidelines. Here you will find a description of the opportunity and attached instructional documents that lead you through the pre-application process.
- Complete and submit an online Pre-Application by December 5, 2023.

Helpful Information
Applicants can request grant funds to support the project as necessary. In the past, grant sizes have ranged from $20,000 to $300,000. Our average grant size is $99,642; the median grant size is $52,000.

We’ve also provided examples of strong applications that were awarded funding in the Community Technology Grants Program 2020. These applications are final applications (NOT pre-applications), but they still provide useful information about projects that met all of our eligibility criteria and stood out to the MHCRC. The applications are shared with the grantees permission.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply via our online grants management system. A link will be provided here starting October 16.
However, if your organization faces barriers to applying online, you can submit your pre-application and application by emailing us electronic versions of your documents, or alternatively, you can mail us physical copies of your application documents.
